A story about the desire for change and belonging. Everyday Yia walks to the garden with her parents to tend and harvest their crops. One day, after coming back from their garden, they received a letter from Yia’s older sister, who had recently arrived in America. Her sister writes about how amazing America is—making Yia want go there too. Follow Yia as she encounters a ghost, discovers a cucumber, and reminisce of her homeland.
